STANTON Harcourt’s Ollie Pascoe took centre stage with a superb 152 to help his side to a 144-run victory over Minster Lovell 2nd in Division 6 on Saturday.

Stanton batted first and were quickly in trouble at 41-4 as Lyndsay Halliwell took 4-21.

But Pascoe then dominated with the bat, hitting 14 sixes and ten fours to help his side to a formidable 249-9.

In reply, Minster were nev-er in with a shout, Tim Jarvis top-scoring with 40.

Damon Tolley (4-14) and John Woodward (3-21) en-sured Minster were dismissed for 105.

Chalgrove and Freeland 2nd took part in a dramatic tie in a low-scoring clash.

Freeland asked Chalgrove to bat on a pudding of a pitch, and they were quickly dismissed for 76, Andy Warren taking 4-28 and Kevin Hole 3-43.

Freeland suffered the same fate as Barry Simms (4-23) and Michael Edwards (3-14) shone.

In Division 1, Charlbury had a bad day at the office as they crashed to a seven-wicket defeat at home to East Oxford.

Ali Malik returned the remarkable figures of 6-5 from 8.4 overs as Charlbury were shot out for 95.

Khurram Shaheen (40no) and Aftab Malik (33no) then saw East Oxford to 97-3.

Minster Lovell also failed to reach 100 as they were beaten by 101 runs by defending champions Westbury.

The visitors posted 197-8 from their 45 overs, Sam Sto-op top-scoring with 45.

Stoop then took 7-46 as Minster fell to 96 all out.

In Division 2, Stonesfield posted an excellent 98-run win against Faringdon.

Jamie Burns (84), George Redknap (65) and Tim Wyatt (50) saw Stonesfield to 236-7, before Adam Fleetwood took 7-25 as Faringdon slumped to 138 all out.

Freeland crashed by 138 runs at home to Oxenford.

Zain Iqbal (81) and Dipyan Das (70) led the visitors to 234-7, Rob Panting taking 4-55.

Freeland were bowled out for 96 in their reply as Aaron Hirtenstein claimed 3-25.

Witney Swifts went down to a 77-run defeat at high-flying Marsh Gibbon.

The home side posted 201-7, with Stewart Black (69) and Alex Wallace (55) in good form.

Colin Priest hit 32 in Swifts’ reply, which collapsed to 124 all out.

Chadlington moved up to second in Division 3 with a 15-run win over West Ilsley.

Freddie Magee (60) and Danny Harding (53) helped Chadlington post 224-5, then Martin Shepherd claimed 4-51 as the visitors were restricted to 209-7, of which Amit Rawal scored 119.

Eynsham saw off Clifton Hampden by 20 runs.

Mark Haigh (57) saw Eyn-sham to 161-9, before Dominic Coe (3-20) and Gary Cook (3-32) combined to bowl Clifton out for 141.

Robbie Nicholson’s 61 help-ed Combe to 181 all out ag-ainst Westcott.

Tom Kellie (3-22) and Matthew Purssell (3-35) were the pick of the Combe attack as Westcott were dismissed for 165.

In Division 4, Hailey posted a dramatic victory at Kennington.

Batting first, Kennington were bowled out for 157, Omar Hussain taking 3-28 and Andy Green 3-36.

Hailey slumped to 16-4 in their reply, before Chris King (59no) and Omar Hussain (32) helped steer them to a three-wicket victory.

Kevin Sherbourne claimed 5-29 to help Stonesfield 2nd to a 29-run win at Ducklington in Division 7.

Paul Jackson (51) helped Stonesfield to 108 all out, Stuart Weston taking 5-31.

Ducklington were then shot out for 79 as Sherbourne shone.

In Division 9, Bampton beat Minster Lovell 3rd in a low-scoring clash.

Bowled out for only 88, Bampton then dismissed their visitors for 64 as Gerald Holford claimed 4-15.

Witney Swifts 2nd fell to a 106-run defeat at home to Chesterton 2nd.

Chasing Chesterton’s 164 all out, Swifts were dismissed for only 58 in their reply.
