CARTERTON went top of Division 1 of the Oxford & District League after a comprehensive home win against Kidlington.

Carterton won 5-1, with Robbie Clanfield’s four posting the biggest win of the day.

In Division 2, Woodstock remain rooted to the foot of the table after crashing 5-1 at home to West Witney.

A win for Chipping Norton skip Justin King was their only high point as the three Brians, Smith, Bloomfield and Buckingham, secured a 5-1 win for Witney Town to go top of Division 4.

Charlbury landed a hard-fought away win at closest neighbours and rivals Chad-lington to go second, while Hanborough slipped to a 4-2 defeat at home to OUP.
