CHARLES Wright has been confirmed as the third rider for Oxford Spires in the 2025 Premiership campaign.
Wright was an ever-present this year, and enjoyed a positive first season with the Spires, achieving the third-highest average on the team.
Wright joins Luke Killeen and Rohan Tungate as the first three confirmed Spires riders for 2025.
He said: “I am really pleased to be back at Oxford for 2025, I had a great time last year with the Spires in their debut year in the Premiership.
“It’s a fantastic club to be at and I can’t wait to get going again in Oxford colours again next year.”

Oxford Speedway team manager Peter Schroeck added: “Charles is a great appointment, since joining us from Belle Vue with his professional approach and positive consistency on track.
“We are delighted to have him representing the Oxford Spires for the 2025 season.”
Schroeck was recently named team manager of the year at the World Speedway Riders’ Association awards night, while Oxford Cheetahs skipper Scott Nicholls was voted rider of the year.
Meanwhile, Oxford Speedway legend Hans Nielsen was the guest of honour at the event.
The 64-year-old Dane, who was world champion four times, three of which while an Oxford Cheetah, was presented with a lifetime achievement award.
