BANBURY United conceded twice in each half as they fell to a 4-1 defeat at Hereford.
Jason Cowley and Adam Rooney gave the home side a 2-0 lead at the break, before Ken Charles pulled a goal back for the Puritans three minutes into the second period.
However, further strikes from Ethan Freemantle and Lassana Mendes provided Hereford with all three points.

The result, which ended Banbury’s run of three away victories on the spin, saw the Puritans drop to 14th in Vanarama National League North.
Mark Jones’ side are four points shy of the play-off places and five clear of the relegation zone.
Next up for the Puritans is a home clash with Nuneaton Borough in the second round of the FA Trophy.
