GERALD Muchchetere scored 35 seconds into a dream full debut to put Oxford City on course for a thumping win over Concord Rangers.
The teenager struck twice in the 5-0 victory, with Klaidi Lolos adding two goals and Jean-Baptiste Fischer opening his account for the club late on.
Muchchetere got City up and running straight from kick-off when he latched onto a loose ball and fired into the bottom corner.
Lolos made it 2-0 from Zac McEachran’s cut-back, before Muchchetere headed home Josh Ashby’s cross to put the hosts 3-0 up after 26 minutes.
Concord stemmed the flow of goals and City could not add to their lead until the closing stages, only to strike twice late on.
McEachran again teed up Lolos with a through ball that the forward dispatched, before Fischer made it five from Reece Fleet’s pass to complete back-to-back wins.
Banbury United produced another eye-catching result in Vanarama National League North, winning 2-1 at Darlington courtesy of a Morgan Roberts double.
Jack Lambert put the former Football League side ahead midway through the first half with a fantastic curling strike from long range.
The Puritans had not been behind this season, but they responded well and were soon on level terms.
Roberts fired home five minutes from half-time after Darlington failed to clear, before nodding Ben Acquaye’s cross into the net with the hour mark approaching to complete the turnaround.
Banbury are second in the table, with ten points from four games.
