Division 2 outfit Combe gave Premier Division side Bampton Town a fright before going down 3-2 in the quarter-final.
The sides were level at half-time, before Bampton edged home after the break.
Matt Baker and Martin Reeves netted for Combe, with Andy Stock, Nathan Beckett and Jason Trinder securing victory for Bampton.
Premier Division Hailey were also made to work hard for their 3-2 victory against Witney Royals, from Division 1.
Mike Duerden, Dan King and Dan Crossman were on target for Hailey, but they had to sweat it out as strikes from Luke Chadwick and Richie Benham ensured a close finish.
