Witney & District FA Fred Ford Cup
Division 2 outfit AC Finstock produced an extraordinary display as they knocked out Division 1 side FC Nomads with a 14-0 victory in the second round of the Fred Ford Cup, writes Anthony Barlow.
Chris Thomas and Craig Mays both hit four-timers, with Luke Simmons grabbing a hat-trick.
Dean Mays, George Woodcock and Sam Bower completed the rout.
Combe, from Division 2, edged out Premier Division outfit Charlbury Town 4-3.
Matt Baker and Martin Reeve notched doubles for Combe, with Martin Grimsley (2) and Craig McCallum netting for Charlbury.
Division 1 side Witney Royals also beat Premier Division opposition, seeing off Ducklington 3-0.
Matt Thompson was the star of the show, netting a hat-trick.
Witney Wanderers beat FC Mills 3-1, with goals from John Bishop, Gerry Thomas and Chris Bennell. Dan Harwood replied.
Aston put up a brave fight before going down 2-1 to Freeland.
Phil Caswell netted for Aston, but his side eventually succumbed to strikes from Dale Kardos and Craig Simpson.
Hailey booked their place in the third round with a 3-1 victory over Cassington.
Joel King, Dan King and Mike Duerden were on target, with Dan Taylor replying.
