NORTH Leigh are planning a legends clash against Oxford United later this year to raise money for the NHS.
The game will see Mark Gee come out of retirement for his 729th Millers game.
Widely regarded as the club’s most successful manager, he was at the helm for 18 years before stepping down in 2016.
Bicester-born Peter Foley, who is still in the top five United goalscorers of all time, will manage the visitors.
With the non-league season expunged due to the coronavirus pandemic, the fixture is planned for after the summer.
The Millers hope it will take place in early September, but will confirm at a later date when the situation becomes clearer.
