THE tireless Tony Lock, of Witney Road Runners, enjoyed a successful weekend in Ireland, culminating in a high finish at the Dublin Half Marathon on Sunday.
Lock kicked off on Saturday by winning the Fairview Park Run in the Irish capital in a veteran 50-54 age group record time of 19mins 10secs.
The following day, he completed the Dublin Half Marathon in an excellent 1hr 25mins 12secs, coming 112th out of 5,710 runners.
He was also eighth out of 600 in his age group.
