Kilkenny batsmen Darren Gordon said there is more to come after he hit his third century in a row.
The right-hander, 25, who bats at No 5, smashed 103 off just 50 balls against Stanton Harcourt.
Last weekend he made two centuries in two days, hitting 133 and 154.
However, his heroics could not prevent the Division 5 leaders from slipping to a two-wicket defeat off the penultimate ball of the last over.
“I hadn’t really found my form in the last couple of years, but this year it’s just clicked and I’ve been hitting it like it’s a beach ball.
“I did some training over the winter and have been seeing it well and it feels like I haven’t stopped batting.
“I think I got out at the wrong time, we really needed another 50 or 60 runs and I had been going well, so that was disappointing really. “I can see myself getting a couple more, especially if the weather stays nice because that helps when batting.
“But you know what cricket’s like. I might not hit another century all season, but certainly I think I have a couple more in me.
“I want to get up to 1,000 runs this season, so I need 330 more and have eight games left to do it in. “I’d also like to hit 150 again and keep my average above 60 or 70.”
His skipper Duncan McDo-nald, who took three wickets in five balls added: “Once he is in he tends to stay in. When he gets in the zone and gets going then he can score runs very quickly.
“He’s a fitness instructor so when he hits the ball it stays hit.”
