Sir — I would, through your Letters page, like to congratulate the individual or individuals who have damaged cars in Holloway Road, Witney.

Not only have they caused damage costing hundreds of pounds — they have also caused disruption and hassle to those having to have cars repaired.

Why carry out such mindless activity under cover of the night? If you have nothing better to do with your time, just spend a few minutes reflecting on your mindless and cowardly actions.

And why should I offer my congratulations? Well, to be so small-minded and cowardly takes some doing.
