Heartfelt thanks
Sir – I would like to send, through your paper, a very big thank you to all the people of Witney and district who have so generously supported the two street collections organised by our Rotary Club in recent weeks.
The first raised £1,250 for Medicins Sans Frontieres for their work in Syria and the second, a very impressive £2,000 for victims of flooding in the north of our country.
The monies raised will make a real difference to people’s lives and we very much appreciate the support that we received at both collections.
