Sir – With reference to your recent reports on Cottsway Housing Association’s woes, would it not be better for West Oxfordshire District Council to take over the role of Cottsway?
At least when the council ran the housing stock, a profit was made, which helped lower the council rates charged to the ratepayers.
To say that the problems of Cottsway were a technical error is laughable.
