A warning to be cautious of rogue traders and doorstep criminals has been issued to Oxfordshire residents by police.
This type of crime involves unsolicited services being offered, such as home repairs, gardening or cleaning, at inflated prices or with no intention of carrying out the work.
Thames Valley Police has warned that vulnerable individuals should take particular care, as they're most at risk from the criminals.

The advice, issued by the police community support officer for Cherwell and West Oxfordshire Helen Keen, included never accepting offer from cold callers or uninvited traders.
It also said to be suspicious of anyone pressuring you into making immediate decisions or payments, and to ask for identification before allowing anyone to enter your home.
Additionally, residents should be cautious of paying upfront for services which haven't been completed.
Any suspicious activity should be reported to the police or local authorities, and victims and witnesses can contact local police or call 101.
