More than £23,000 has been raised for local charities by pubs across Oxfordshire.

Butcombe Pubs and Inns’ Community Engagement Week saw teams from its pubs across the county organising working groups and fundraising activities for several local charities and good causes.

The Victoria Arms in Old Marston hosted a cake and cuppa morning, raising money for Down's Syndrome Oxford and cancer charity Maggie’s Oxford.

The week saw more than 300 team members from Butcombe Pubs and Inns collectively clock up 1.5 million steps, swim 20 miles, walk 50 dogs, clean 10 beaches, volunteer for 100 hours, prepare and distribute 200 meals, and bake 1,000 cakes.
