A San Francisco based travel media brand has today named Oxfordshire as a must-see destination on its Where to Go list for next year.

Afar, a travel news brand noted for its conscientious tourism values, aimed to spotlight “lesser known” regions of the world to direct its readers to.

Oxfordshire featured third on the Europe list of “off the beaten track” destinations, with the description: “Go beyond the confines of the famous university to find pastoral beauty, historic ruins, creative dining and literary icons.”
