A man has been arrested as police also located a stolen BMW in Oxfordshire.
Thames Valley Police located the stolen car in Eynsham on Friday after it has been taken from Banbury.
The force posted an update on social media later on Friday along with photos of the recovered vehicle.
A spokesperson for TVP said: “PC Uren & PC Moule located this stolen BMW in Eynsham today.

“It had been taken from Banbury.
“PC Uren & PC Moule also stopped this 4x4 towing a trailer with the wrong plate in the Buckland area.
“Checks showed it was in order and advice given to register the trailer with The Equipment Registry or Datatag ID Limited The driver was also given "STOP ME AFTER 10PM" stickers.
“Whilst in the Buckland area, they assisted local officers in arresting a male for Domestic Violence offences.”
