Oxford Mail camera club members have been out and about this week snapping some mesmerising minimalist compositions for this week's composition.
Our 'minimalist' theme inspired the photographers to take pictures of a range of subjects, from a frog in a pond to a pigeon in a puddle.
Some of our favourite shots were geometric patterns found in ordinary scenes, like the lines of a sports field or a zebra crossing.

We also loved shots of flight, like a plane, a bird, or a leaf floating in the air.
But this week's winner had to be Ashley Goble's A boat out at sea, for its stunning simplicity.
Each week camera club members are given a theme and then post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.

A selection are picked to feature in the Oxford Mail and in The Oxford Times and one photo is chosen as photo of the week.

The next theme is 'Halloween'.
