Police are warning residents in west Oxfordshire after two incidents of 'vehicle interference'.
The incidents saw Land Rover Defenders be targeted in Chadlington and Fordwells.
In a message to residents, police said: “We are advising that old school prevention methods seem to be working well, items such as steering wheel locks, foot pedal locks, and wheel clamps.

“Where possible fit a passive spotlight near to the vehicle so it's activated when approached, these vehicles are highly sought after for their ability to go off road, be sold for parts and transported to other countries.
“It's likely that you're vehicle will have been observed at some point, any sus circumstances such as people videoing your house, taking pictures or random cold callers could all be a pre cursor to a theft.”
