A town's estate has been hit with a raft of thefts from vans, sparking a public appeal to be launched by Thames Valley Police.
It was announced by the force on Wednesday afternoon that officers have been told about a series of break-ins to vans on the Windrush estate in Witney on Tuesday night.
Officers are now encouraging people to report any thefts and supply any CCTV footage which could help them in their investigation.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, a spokesperson for Thames Valley Police West Oxfordshire said: “We have been made aware that overnight last night there was a series of break-ins to vans on the Windrush estate in Witney.
“If you have been affected please ensure you report the theft to police as we have recovered some items already and will be looking to return them to the owners where possible, currently we believe there are more break-ins than have been reported and we can only help with issues we are made aware of.
“Also if you have any CCTV footage either from a security camera, ring doorbell or dash cam please check to see if it has captured anything and in turn contact us via 101 to let us know.”
Thames Valley Police guidance on reporting crimes states people should call 999 in an emergency or report it directly to the force's control room if it is not an emergency.
