David Cameron has been spotted out and about speaking to Oxfordshire residents.

The former Prime Minister was walking around Chipping Norton alongside fellow Conservatives ahead of the upcoming by-elections.

He was seen with county and district councillor Liam Walker the party’s candidate for the area Caspar Morris as photos were posted on social media.

In an update on X, formerly Twitter, Mr Walker said: “Launching our Chipping Norton by-election campaign this morning.

“[It is] great to be joined by David Cameron [who is] supporting our candidate Caspar Morris. #VoteConservative.”

Mr Cameron was the leader of the party from 2005 to 2016, being PM for the last six years of those.

He is no stranger to Oxfordshire having attended the University of Oxford as well as being the MP for Witney from 2001 to 2016.
