October is here and with it comes a lot of autumnal and Halloween events including the annual favourite – pumpkin picking.

Several farms across the county are hosting pumpkin-picking events from circuses and discos to tractor rides and goblin hunts.

The Oxford Mail has put together a list of some of the events that are being held across Oxfordshire ready for pumpkin picking fans to book tickets.

Make sure you pick your pumpkin and get it carved before Halloween night on Thursday, October 31.

Rectory Farm, Oxford

Tickets are now on sale to visit the farm’s pumpkin patch along with tractor rides, garden games, face painting, tractor rides, food, coffee, and more. The pumpkin patch opens from Saturday (October 5) and runs until Thursday (October 31) with tickets starting at £5 per person.

Earth Trust, Little Wittenham, Abingdon

From Sunday (October 13), tickets are available on various days across the month with tickets from £3 per person in advance or £5 on the gate. There will also be a Maize maze and free craft activities.

High Lodge Farm, Abingdon

Complete with a spooky trail and woodland trail, pumpkins are ready to be picked at High Lodge Farm. Activity sheets, games, barrel trains and more are also on offer. There are also night sessions for those looking for a spookier vibe. Tickets are available now ranging from £7 for children and £5 for adults, under ones go free.

Millets Farm, Marcham

From strawberry picking to pumpkins, autumn is truly here at Millets Farm. Guests can pick by day or by night and visit the farm’s Halloween circus, spooktacular discos or dog day. Tickets range from £1.50 to £2.50 for the pumpkin patch, £8.99 for pumpkin carving and more.

Hadsham Farm, Horley, Banbury

From October 19 to 31, a pumpkin festival is taking place at the Horley farm in Banbury. Guests can pick pumpkins, visit the crafting area, take part in a goblin hunt, build a scarecrow and more. Tickets cost £5 and must be pre-booked, under twos go free.

Cotswold Farm Park, Guilting Power, Cheltenham

Pumpkin picking and carving sessions are taking place on various days across October starting on Friday (October 4) until Thursday (October 31). The farm is dog-friendly and wheelbarrows are available. Tickets cost £6 for adults and £10.95 to £11.95 for children with under twos going free.
