A Witney school welcomed more than 140 business representatives for its latest networking breakfast last Friday (September 20).
The event at Cokethorpe School, which focused on 'Leadership and the Power of Partnership', featured two guest speakers.
Jeremy Blain, an award-winning author and CEO of Performance Works International, and Andy Cato, the co-founder of Wildfarmed and a former member of Groove Armada, shared their insights.
Mr Blain said: "Leading today requires agility, the ability to think on your feet, and the courage to make decisions in real-time.
"Leaders must grow comfortable with discomfort and be willing to embrace the challenges of a steep learning curve."
Mr Cato shared his journey from music to regenerative agriculture, which saw him create a group of farmers committed to reshaping the UK food system.
Cokethorpe’s headmaster, Damian Ettinger, said: "We are deeply grateful to Mr Blain and Mr Cato for their inspiring contributions.
"Their insights highlighted the critical role partnerships play in ensuring businesses not only survive but thrive.
"This is exactly what our business community networking events are designed to foster."
Ed Le Coyte of LUNIQ, which was the title sponsor of the event, added: "By supporting Cokethorpe’s initiative to connect industry veterans with emerging talent, we are championing a platform where sustainable innovation and leadership development can flourish."
The next event on March 7, 2025, will feature musician, chef, and entrepreneur Levi Roots, and Rachel Hicks.
