Blenheim Palace has been named the most popular autumn and winter wedding venue in the country by a new study.

The 18th-century Baroque palace in Woodstock topped the list by Aura Print, with 206,000 Instagram hashtags.

Set in the Cotswolds countryside, its Formal Gardens and Great Lake provide a picturesque backdrop for weddings.

It has also featured in hit Netflix series, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, as well as Harry Potter and James Bond movies.

Hampton Court Palace, in Surrey, came second with 186,000 hashtags.

The 500-year-old palace offers rose-red Tudor brick, stone archways, cobbled courtyards, and gardens.

Leeds Castle in Kent secured third place with 117,000 hashtags. Its interior underwent an extensive refurbishment by leading European designers in the 1920s and 30s.

In fourth place was London's Barbican Centre, with 112,000 hashtags.

The conservatory venue offers a tropical setting, ideal for an exotic rainforest wedding.

Wollaton Hall & Deer Park in Nottinghamshire rounded off the top five with 50,600 hashtags.

The 500-acre site, home to free-roaming deer and formal gardens, is a "stunning" wedding location, according to Aura Print.
