Craft ale fans enjoyed special brews on tap at a knees-up in a brewery at the weekend.

Little Ox Brew Co in Freeland, near Witney, opened its doors for its annual Oktoberfest, the biggest beer event of its year.

Loyal drinkers also enjoyed brewery tours and later in the afternoon live music from Oxford alternative rock band The Kockrachez.

The brewery, which is run by a team of five, was created eight years ago by former research scientist Ian Hemingway who decided to turn his love of home brewing into a business.

It produces craft beers including Dark and Seedy, Daydreamer, Hufflepuff and Lucky U, the official beer of Oxford United Football Club.

Its Yabba Dabba Doo been named 'beer of the festival' in blind tastings at Oxford Beer Festival twice.

“It's called that because that’s the way it makes you feel when you drink it,” he said.
