A street market selling locally produced delicious fine food and unique arts and crafts is returning to an Oxfordshire town.
The Witney Fine Food & Craft Market is back at Marriotts Walk on Saturday (September 28) between 10am – 5pm.
The first market held in June drew hundreds of shoppers and over 40 stall holders, selling tasty food and baked goods as well as unique arts and crafts made by local producers.
The market was planned after the great support received for the first Christmas Market in December 2023.
The three-day event increased footfall by 60 per cent in the town compared to 2022.
Some 15,000 people visiting Marriotts Walk during the three days, said West Oxfordshire District Council which owns the shopping centre.
Cotswold Markets, which runs the events, said it is hoping to be able to establish Marriott’s Walk as a key location for markets in the area.
A bumper crowd is expected this weekend as Witney in Pink also takes place on Saturday.
