Drivers have been warned to drive carefully ahead of a yearly funfair.
The fair which is part of celebrations for Witney Feast starts today at The Leys near Station Lane in Witney and lasts until tomorrow (Tuesday September 17).
Oxfordshire County Council said motorists should expect high levels of pedestrian activity.
The historic event opened last night with a service on the Golden Gallopers carousel, where the fair was blessed by the Bishop of Sheffield.
Run by Bob Wilson's Funfairs, the fair is one of the biggest in Oxfordshire and attracts thousands of visitors.
It is open daily with rides and attractions, games and a range of food and drink vendors, said organisers.
