The PIG group of luxury hotels has bought Barnsley House hotel and The Village Pub in the Cotswolds.
The 17th century hotel in Barnsley, near Cirencester, is famous for its historic arts and crafts gardens created by renowned garden designer Rosemary Verey.
Chairman Robin Hutson said: "We are absolutely thrilled to have acquired Barnsley House, it has been in my peripheral vision for many years as a possible acquisition, always thinking it would make a perfect 'Pig' and we are very excited to have our first pub too."
The Pig Group acquired Barnsley House from British furniture brand Timothy Oulton for an undisclosed sum.
The pub reopened last November after a makeover and was renamed The Boot.
Refurbishment works will start in February with a view to opening this summer as THE PIG and The Village Pub.
The small Potting Sheds spa at the hotel will also expand the range of treatments on offer.
