Oxford Pride and Oxford University LGBTQ Society will be hosting a candlelit vigil to commemorate World AIDS Day.
Open to all, the event will begin at 7pm on Friday, December 1 at the Radcliffe Camera in the city centre.
This will feature speeches, poetry readings, and music performances aimed at fostering community unity.
For a £1 donation, attendees can purchase a red ribbon, symbolising solidarity with HIV and AIDS victims, which they will have the chance to decorate a white Christmas tree with.
Proceeds will be donated to the National AIDS Trust.
Additionally, key Oxford buildings will be illuminated red to show solidarity in the global fight against HIV and AIDS.
Oxford Pride said: "Let us come together, remember, and demonstrate our collective commitment to a world free of HIV and AIDS."
