Families with kids have been given a new idea for fun this summer with the start of the annual summer event at a playground in Oxfordshire.

The adventure playground ‘Tumblestone Hollow’ at Stonor Park, near Henley, is inviting children to fly along a zip wire and ascend climbing nets.

Designed for children of all ages, this playground also features high level walkways, look-out decks and special stones with hidden secrets to uncover.

Book-lovers can also enjoy storytelling sessions held throughout the day and read from Tumblestone Hollow’s two children’s books.

Lord Camoys, custodian of Stonor Park, said: “Tumblestone Hollow is a wonderful space for families in the summer holidays."

He said there is “something for all ages to enjoy” and described the playground as somewhere children “can burn off energy and run around with friends”.

Running until Sunday, September 3, the park is offering a complete day out with tickets to the adventure playground also including access to Stonor House’s formal gardens where spacious lawns and ponds can be enjoyed.
