Nominations have recently opened for the British Kebab Awards 2024 as the hunt for the UK's best kebab begins.
The annual event, in its 12th year, is a celebration of the UK's kebab industry recognizing the hard work and dedication of those who make it.
Following the news, we asked our readers where they think the best place in Oxfordshire is to enjoy a kebab.

Here's where our readers think the best kebab is in Oxfordshire.
John Wade said the Grove Kebab Van is "the best" and the staff are "very helpful as well."
A couple of readers mentioned the Boss Kebab van in Summertown whilst another said McCoy's Kebab van in Oxford is the best.
The Bodrum Restaurant in Oxford was also mentioned by a number of readers whilst one voted for King Kebab in Witney saying their kebabs are "awesome"
Ruth Devine opted for the Oxford Kebab House in Manzil Way saying they have "friendly staff" and "great food".
Last year, two Oxfordshire kebab vans within a few miles of each other made the final of the British Kebab Awards 2023.
Southmoor Kebab and Grove Kebab Van - 15 minutes away from each other - were both in the running for Kebab Van of the Year at the industry event.
The kebab industry is one of the most inclusive food sectors in the UK, with many employees of Kurdish, Turkish, Greek, Lebanese, Armenian, and other backgrounds.
There are currently around 20,000 kebab outlets in the UK, supporting around 200,000 jobs.
The industry is now estimated to be worth over £2.8bn to the British economy, with more than 1.3m kebabs sold across Britain every day.
