This is the face of a rapist who filmed the assault on his sleeping victim.
Kiefer Ewers, 26, was jailed for 12 years at Oxford Crown Court last week, with Recorder John Ryder KC telling the defendant: “You essentially used the victim as an object for the purposes of your personal sexual gratification.”
The Woodstock man was found guilty earlier this year of rape, sexual assault by penetration, causing actual bodily harm and voyeurism.

After the jury convicted Ewers in January, Thames Valley Police’s DC Martin Whaley said: “Ewers pursued a campaign of horrific abuse against his victim, all for his own selfish gratification.
“It has been a lengthy and difficult process for the victim, and I commend her bravery in supporting the prosecution.
“I hope this conviction goes someway in giving victims the confidence to come forward to the police.
“Thames Valley Police and the Crown Prosecution Service are dedicated to tackling the scourge of violence against women and girls.
“We take all complaints seriously, and where the evidence is available, we will seek to prosecute offenders.”
