OXFORD United Women have raided league rivals Crawley Wasps for a third player in less than six months.
Tash Stephens joins former teammates Naomi Cole and Iesha Swaby in making the move to United.
The winger scored nine times in 30 appearances last season and has captained Crawley this campaign.
There’s already one new face at #oufc this month with Stephan Negru arriving from Shelbourne. Thanks to @markmccadden from @IrishStarSport for some great insight on the 20-year-old centre backhttps://t.co/cDKVby3qHP

Stephens told the U’s website: “I’ve been training here for a few weeks, the girls are lovely and the way they play is great so I’m really excited to get going.
“I’ve played against Oxford a few times over the years, and I know what they’re about.
“I’m a very tenacious player, I like to get at people and get forward to try and create chances, but I love the dirty work of football as well.
“I want to get back and get stuck in to help defensively and all I want to do is win games.
“There’s so many talented players in this league and this year is no different, so being at the top is a really great opportunity to try and get out of this tough league.
“It would be nice to pop up with a few goals, but I just want to help the team win games as much as possible.”
United sit top of Southern Premier Division, while Crawley are bottom and yet to win a game this season in the league.
