A property developer has made a donation of art supplies to a Witney primary school to encourage its pupils to embrace their creativity.

David Wilson Homes has provided Witney Community Primary School in Hailey Road with £150 worth of art supplies, including colouring pencils, paint pots, glue sticks and more to help stimulate the pupils’ creativity.

The school, is close to the developers’ Kingfisher Meadows development in Burford Road.

Mark Peacey, headteacher at Witney Community Primary School, said: “The children have loved being able to express their creativity through this project with David Wilson Homes and the art materials have allowed them to be even more expressive, we are extremely grateful.”

Dominic Harman, managing director at David Wilson Homes Mercia, said: “We hope that by donating these art supplies, children at Witney Community Primary School will create some brilliant artwork, learn more about the subject and have fun whilst doing so.”
