MATTHEW HAPGOOD, 41, of HMP Bullingdon, pleaded guilty to burgling a garden shed in Cholsey of power tools and food and assaulting a police constable on Christmas Day last year. He was cleared of a common assault. The magistrates sentenced him to six months’ imprisonment and ordered he pay £250 in costs.
SOPHIE BYLES, 31, of Upper Tadmarton, near Banbury, was convicted of driving an Audi A3 on Orchard Way, Banbury, while over the drug driving limit for cannabis. She was ordered to do 50 hours of unpaid work, pay £695 in costs and surcharge and was banned from driving for two years.
ANTHONY MILLER, 36, of East Street, Bicester, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Vectra on the A34 near Weston on the Green while over the drug driving limit to benzoylecgonine, a substance created when cocaine breaks down in the body. He was fined £250, banned from the roads for a year and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.
AIDAN O’NEILL, 25, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted possession of a cut throat razor in Bonn Square without a reasonable excuse. He was sentenced to 12 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year and must pay £85 in costs and a £154 victim surcharge.
JACKIE WALKER, 72, of Goldhawk Road, Milton Keynes, pleaded guilty to drink driving a BMW on Bicester Road, Stratton Audley. She was found to be almost twice the drink-drive limit. She was fined £180, banned from driving for a year and a half and must pay £157 in costs and surcharge.
FERNANDO DOS REIS, 36, of Barton Village Road, Oxford, admitted driving a VW Golf on Cranmer Road, Oxford, while over the drink drive limit. Breath tests showed he had 73mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35. He was fined £500, banned from driving for 20 months and ordered to pay £285 in costs and surcharge.
IAN GREENWOOD, 34, of Court Farm Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to burgling cake moulds, freezer bags and insect repellent from Summertown bakery Gatineau on August 11 and stealing Jack Daniels whiskey from Sainsbury’s the following month. He was sentenced in his absence to six months’ imprisonment and ordered to pay £300 in compensation. The district judge noted that Greenwood had a long list of previous convictions and there was an ‘element of planning’ involved in his patisserie break-in.
EGLIS KADIU, 20, of Windermere Close, Dartford, admitted driving a BMW X5 in Grenoble Road, Oxford, without a valid licence or insurance. He was fined £160 and given six penalty points. He was ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.
AHARA ANNESLEY, 31, of Grove Road, Bladon, pleaded guilty to driving a Mercedes C300 on Oxford Road, Kidlington, while over the drug drive limit for cocaine and its derivative benzoylecgonine. The magistrates imposed a two year roads ban, £300 in fines and ordered the driver pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service. She was, separately, fined £300 for drug driving a Mercedes on the A34 near Abingdon.
JAMES MURPHY, 28, of Hazel Grove, Bicester, admitted driving a Citroen C5 on Willow Drive while over the cannabis drug drive limit. He was fined £100, banned from driving for a year and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.
ALAN FEELEY, 43, of Chorefields, Kidlington, pleaded guilty to drug driving a VW Golf on Whitelands Way, Bicester. Tests showed he was over the limit for cannabis. He was fined £700, disqualified from driving for a year and must pay £155 in costs and surcharge.
