A school textbook has been ripped up and thrown around a field, but residents are uncertain of how it happened.
A schoolbook was found torn up and peppered over the grass in Burwell Field, in Witney, yesterday afternoon.
Some residents suggested on a Facebook post with an image of the pages strewn over the field that the book’s owner could have been the victim of a bully.

One person posted comment which said: “You don’t know that it’s a child throwing their own schoolbooks around either.
“When I was bullied at school, they took my planner and tore out pages and threw them around.”
Another person said: “Maybe the kid is experiencing bullying and maybe someone else did it?”
Many of the people posting comments said the person who posted the photo should not have blamed the child for the mess.
