A Facebook user has slammed litterbugs who left rubbish at Ducklington Lake.

Pictures shared on the Spotted Witney Facebook page showed the rubbish left on the bank of by people who were swimming in the lake.

The poster wrote: “Well done to the d*** heads leaving all rubbish following their swim last night around Duck lake.”

The images show the remnants of fire with cans of beer, a bottle vodka, juice bottle and a disposable BBQ.

People in the community were disgusted by the litter.

Maureen Dean said “lighting a fire or even a disposable BBQ in this weather is totally irresponsible”.

Vicky Bulman said the litter-louts have “no respected” for the community or wildlife.

Winne Bates called them “dirty uncaring filth”.
