Here are the Oxfordshire road closures that will impact drivers this week.

Notes on how long delays are expected to last, and some extra information, have been added by National Highways.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.

South Oxfordshire

Drivers in and around South Oxfordshire will have five National Highways road closures on the M40 to watch out for this week.

• M40, from 9pm April 4 to 6am April 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 7 to junction 6, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M40, from 9pm April 4 to 6am April 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 6 to junction 7, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M40, from 9pm April 6 to 5am April 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 7 to junction 6, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M40, from 9.30pm April 6 to 6am April 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 6, exit Slip closure for maintenance works.

• M40, from 9.30pm April 6 to 6am April 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 5 to junction 7, Lane closure for maintenance works.

Oxford

Drivers in and around Oxford will have one National Highways road closure to watch out for this week.

It is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a holdup of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

• A34, from 8pm April 12 to 6am April 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 southbound, Botley to South Hinksey, carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion to Peartree via ringroad and re-join at Hinksey.

Vale of White Horse

The Vale of White Horse's motorists will have two road closures on the A34 to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

• A34, from 8pm March 21 to 6am April 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Hinksey Hill, Lane closures for Oxfordshire County Council works.

• A34, from 8pm April 4 to 6am April 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Marcham to Abingdon, Lane closures for drainge work.

Cherwell

Drivers in and around Cherwell will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

• M40, from 9pm April 3 to 6am April 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 10 to junction 11, Lane closure for maintenance work.

• A43, from 9pm March 28 to 6am April 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A43 northbound and southbound, Cherwell services to Baynards Green roundabout, Lane closures due to survey works.

• A34, from 8pm April 5 to 6am April 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Weston on the Green, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

• M40, from 9pm April 10 to 6am April 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 10 to junction 11, Lane closure for maintenance work.
