Petrol prices have reached record highs due to the war in Ukraine, adding to the ongoing squeeze on household budgets.

According to the RAC, the average price of a litre of unleaded today is 158.2p, super unleaded is 169.9p, diesel is 165.2p and LPG is 165.2p.
