Sewage has been released into the River Thames in Oxfordshire.
The alert of the release comes from Oxford Thames Sewage Alerts on Twitter, which notifies when sewage is being dumped into the county's waterways.
The release started yesterday at at 7pm near Witney.
We wanted to let you know about an ongoing sewage release at WITNEY STW. The release started at 19:00 on 20/02/2022.

Last month protesters took to Port Meadow to protest the sewage releases.
Hundreds of people took part in the protest which saw MP Layla Moran speak at the event.
