In Summertown, shoppers can visit Sarah Wiseman Gallery and The North Wall Arts Centre on South Parade. The Pompette French restaurant on the same street is offering Art Late visitors 20 per cent off their Prix Fixe menu, which is available from 6-6.30pm.
Gallery owner Sarah Wiseman said: “We’re delighted to have this event on South Parade – a street that boasts our two wonderful art venues and fantastic restaurants like Pompette. Following the success of Art Late Woodstock, we were keen to join in the fun and create a wonderful buzzing atmosphere as people move between the venues on South Parade.
"It’s great to collaborate and build the art scene in Oxford.”
Nicky Laird, gallery manager at The North Wall says: “Art Late Summertown has launched to give local residents a chance to enjoy South Parade’s galleries after hours. We hope it will encourage people to get together for a glass of wine at The North Wall and Sarah Wiseman and try the food at Pompette.
“As Christmas is around the corner, it’s also an opportunity to indulge in a bit of arty Christmas shopping”.
