A FAMILY has paid tribute to a “generous and loving” mother who died suddenly in her Thame flat.
Mum-of-two Kathy Ceaton passed away aged 66 on Sunday.
Ms Ceaton was a BBC TV producer and the mother of film director and producer Matthew Vaughn, who is married to model Claudia Schiffer.
A short statement from the family released yesterday read: “Kathy Megan Ceaton, beloved mother of Matthew Vaughn and Pasha Saigol, died on Sunday, July 21, aged 66.
“Her intelligence, generosity, loyalty and friendship will be missed by many.”
Son Pasha Saigol said: “She was a successful television producer. She did some extraordinary work.
“She was kind, generous and loving to everyone she knew and she had a multitude of friends.”
Ms Ceaton was once married to Pakistani millionaire Javaid Saigol.
Her eldest son Matthew, 42, produced the film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. He later directed Layer Cake, Stardust, Kick-Ass, and X-Men: First Class.
Two ambulances and an air ambulance were called to Ms Ceaton’s Butter Market home at about noon on Sunday, but paramedics were unable to save her.
Police are still appealing for witnesses after paramedics were blocked by a driver making rude gestures.
One of the two ambulances called to the incident was delayed on the A418 from Aylesbury, but the delay did not affect the patient, according to an ambulance spokesman.
