MORGAN Crofts tightly gripped her prize teddy as the sun beamed down on the hundreds of attendees of the Finstock Festival.
The two-day event began on Friday with a children’s party in the village hall.
Then on Saturday hundreds descended on the main field to enjoy a variety of bands, a tug-of-war, welly wanging and egg-throwing contests and maypole dancing, inset.
Beaming Morgan, seven, who attends Stanton Harcourt Primary and is from the village, said: “I was really happy to win the raffle and had a great day.”
Her father Nicholas 37, added: “The best bit was the firemen hosing everyone down, it really did help cool us off because it was scorching out there.”
In the evening a singing workshop was led by Oxfordshire musician Kath Lucas. The bar and teas were provided by Friends of Finstock School.
