Oxfordshire County Council and its partners have organised a ‘holiday activities and food’ programme to run across Oxfordshire this Easter.
13,000 places are available for children eligible for free school meals. Recreational and educational wellbeing activities for five to 16-year-olds include swimming lesson, bike riding, boxing, creative arts, life skills and health care.
The county council has also arranged for its partners to provide families with healthy meals, cooking videos and recipes at several of the activity sites.
It is hoped that these activities will help children and young people enjoy things they may not otherwise have an opportunity to do with their friends. It is also a great way for them to keep active and fit during the holiday.
Further information and eligibility criteria can be found on the holiday and activities webpages on Oxfordshire County Council’s website.
