One case and two suspected cases of the Covid-19 Omicron variant have been detected in Oxfordshire.
Two people at Oxford University have tested positive for Covid-19 and it is suspected to be the Omicron variant.
A third case has also been detected in West Oxfordshire.
Currently, Oxfordshire is surrounded by Omicron variant cases in neighbouring and nearby counties and areas.
Cases have been identified in South Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Chiltern, Spelthorne in Surrey and the London borough of Lambeth.

Oxford
Two cases of the Omicron variant have been identified at Oxford University.
A spokesperson for the university said: "Two members of the University have tested positive for COVID-19, and the omicron variant is suspected.
"The cases are both in the same college, and are linked. The individuals are now isolating in line with government guidance.
"Their close contacts are being notified and are being asked to isolate. The University is working closely with the public health authorities and following their advice."
West Oxfordshire
One case has been identified in West Oxfordshire.
South Oxfordshire
There are no cases recorded in South Oxfordshire.
Vale of White Horse
There are no cases recorded in Vale of White Horse.
Cherwell
There are no cases recorded in Cherwell.
