Public Notice

Notice of Application to Vary a Premises Licence or Club Pre mises Certificate - iZiCafé/Wine Bar Ltd, Oxon

NOTICE is hereby given that iZi Cafe/Wine Bar Limited Applied to West Oxfordshire District Council on 21st May 2013 32-34 Market Square, Witney, Oxon To:

1) Variation to increase last entry time from 00:30 to 02:00

We wish to increase the last time that we can allow customers to gain access to our premises from 00:30 to 02:00.

We have a license to sell alcohol until 03:00 on Saturday nights/Sunday morning. Therefore this means that we can not allow anyone onto the premises 2.5 hours before we close which adversely effects trade.

We wish to increase the last time someone can gain access to the premises to 1 hour before we close to increase footfall but also to prevent customers from gaining very late access and therefore trying to consume alcohol too quickly.

As we close at 02:00 on Fridays and sometimes on Thursdays we would make the last entry 01:00 to follow the 1 hour before closing policy that we are suggesting for Saturday nights.

2) Variation to extend the time the front doors/windows are allowed to be open from 19:30 hours to 23:00 hours

We wish to extend the time that we are allowed to have our front doors/windows open from 19:30 hours to 23:00 hours. During the summer evenings many of our customers enjoy sitting in the front windows and watching the world go past.

At the moment it is a shame and we often get complaints when we close the windows and 19:30 hours as the background music is not loud and therefore there is no real impact on the surrounding areas.

While the doors/windows are open any audio noise (music/TV's) will be kept at a background level as to not impact adversely on the surrounding area.

Any person wishing to object to this application must give notice in writing stating the nature of objection by 18th June. (28 days after display)
