THE regular Sky Bet League One season has drawn to a close, with Oxford United now looking forward to a play-off semi-final clash against Peterborough United.
The U’s welcome the Posh for the first leg on Saturday evening, before the return game on May 8.
With the regular campaign now done and dusted, it felt like the ideal opportunity to take a look at some of the key statistics from United’s season.

Cameron Brannagan is a key cog for the U’s, and the numbers would appear to back that up.
The 27-year-old midfielder was ranked as the third-highest player in League One, with an average rating of 7.31.
Only Stevenage captain Carl Piergianni (7.46) and Derby County centre back Eiran Cashin (7.43) scored higher.
Brannagan has grabbed 12 goals and nine assists in 43 games, and finished third for key passes per game (2.0) and eighth for shots per game (2.7).
United skipper Elliott Moore ended up as 10th overall in League One, with an average rating of 7.13.
The 27-year-old centre back was fifth for clearances per game (5.5), seventh for aerial duels won per game (5.5), and seventh for average passes per game (64.8).
Ciaron Brown snook into the top 30 League One players, as thanks to an average rating of 6.99, he ranked 29th, while Ruben Rodrigues (34th with an average rating of 6.97), Greg Leigh (62nd with an average rating of 6.87) and Sam Long (94th with an average rating of 6.81) were all in the top 100.
Portuguese playmaker Rodrigues was the most fouled per game (2.3) player in the third tier, while Josh Murphy was fourth (2.0) and Marcus McGuane was ninth (1.7).
McGuane enjoyed the second highest pass success percentage in the division, with his 90.4 per cent bettered only by Peterborough centre back Ronnie Edwards (91.6).
Wigan Athletic midfielder Matt Smith came in at third (89.8), just ahead of U’s man Josh McEachran (88.6).
According to the WhoScored numbers, United committed the second least fouls per game (9.3), with Peterborough out in front on 9.0.
The U’s finished third for aerial duels won (53.8 per cent), with only Stevenage (54.8) and champions Portsmouth (54.6) ranking higher.
United’s pass accuracy (77.7 per cent) was fourth in League One, bettered only by Peterborough (84.8), Wigan (81.3) and Bolton Wanderers (78).
The U’s ended the regular campaign fifth for shots per game (13.8), behind Peterborough (16.1), Bolton (14.2), Barnsley (13.9), and Portsmouth (13.8), and were second for shots on target per game (5.3). The Posh edged United, with 5.4 shots on target per game.
