Sir – When Shilton Park was built, Brize Norton had the promise that no more building would be done between us and Carterton.

Now, just a few short years later they are proposing to do just that, proving that you can’t trust politicians of any rank or colour.

Christ Church college will go down in Brize Norton history as the institution which has ruined our Domesday village with no thought for the people who live here, because we want to live here and not in Carterton.
