Jeremy Clarkson's girlfriend has revealed she was close to ending up with a criminal record in the latest series of Clarkson’s Farm.

According to national reports, Lisa Hogan spoke of how she got into hot water for selling non-local produce on their farm.

Clarkson and Hogan will star once again in the hit Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm next month when the third season of the heavily popular show is released.

The 63-year-old former Top Gear host is continuing to manage his Diddly Squat Farm in Chipping Norton alongside Kaleb and Gerald Cooper.

Hogan admitted that she had a “serious conversation” with land agent and advisor Charlie Ireland, about what produce could be sold in the farm shop.

The topic was so serious that she learned that their shop could only sell items made within 16 miles of their farm and, if she didn’t comply, she could face a criminal record.

“Charlie had to have a serious conversation with me and say that I could end up with a criminal record if I didn’t comply,” she said, as per national reports.

“It’s council regulations which I respect, especially after Charlie explained it to me in his clear and concise way.

“When you first catch up with us again, the restaurant has been forced to close down by the local council.

“We’re allowed to keep our gourmet food van so that we can cook the meat from our animals, which is great, but it would have been nice to continue the restaurant because it’s a stunning spot.”
